The Sound Architect of Techno-Electro-Dub
Emerging from the raw, rebellious underbelly of music, Ben’s sonic journey was forged in the gritty fires of punk, the atonal chaos of bands like Einstürzende Neubauten, Throbbing Gristle, and P.I.L., and the politically charged dub pulses of Linton Kwesi Johnson. His early influences also embraced the pioneering electro of Liaisons Dangereuses, the robotic precision of Kraftwerk, the industrial experimentalism of Cabaret Voltaire, and the haunting post-punk of Joy Division. These eclectic roots laid the foundation for his later immersion in the visceral, rhythmic intensity of Electronic Body Music (EBM). Now Ben weaves these diverse threads into his techno-electro-dub sets, crafting hypnotic soundscapes that blend the sharp, metallic edge of electro, the relentless drive of techno, and the smoky, echoing depths of dub. Each performance is a sonic odyssey, channeling his avant-garde origins into a pulsating, modern rebellion that captivates crowds and makes the beat their heartbeat.
